March Meeting Recap

I hope that you are having a wonderful week. We met on Monday March 1st for our monthly meeting. We also held Jess a suprise bridal shower. We did get some business done while we were there. Here are the updates you need to know!

March 27th-Children's Day at the Farm(Brattonsville)- if you are available please volunteer to bring an animal or help out. WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS!

April 1st- Senior Portfolios due

April 5th- Monthly Meeting for April (if you can't attend please let me know prior).

April 10th- Pig Show- please donate can drinks if possible. All donations should be at the extension office by noon on Friday April 9th or delivered to the Chester Sale barn on the 10th.

April 17th- Anne Springs Close Greenway Petting Zoo- if you are available please volunteer to bring an animal or help out.

April 24th- Earthday Birthday Petting Zoo (York Co. Museum)- please be sure to bring an animal and volunteer on this date.

Petting Zoo are currently our only source of funds other than dues! If you are available you NEED to help out as much as possible!!!

May 1st- Registration for Miss York County Livestock DUE!

May 1st- Epworth UMC

May 3rd- Monthly Meeting

May 21st & 22nd- Miss York County Livestock Competition (Friday interviews and knowledge quiz along w/ rehearsal)

June 4th & 5th-WV Purebred Sheep Sale (http://www.sheepwv.org/WVPSBA.html) If you need a lamb purchased please let Caci know!

June 7th- Monthly Meeting

July 1st-4th- National Jr. Suffolk Show- Janesville Wisconsin

July 2nd-4th- All American Jr. Show- East Lansing Michigan (deadline to enter May 20)

July 5th- Monthly Meeting (cookout?)

August 2- Monthly Meeting

August 7- Lamb Clinic????

August 28- Summerfest Petting Zoo (YCFLS Fundraisier)

September 6- Monthly Meeting

September 10-11- York County Fall Livestock Show

**We will doing some type of recordbook for all ages however details will be forthcoming (in other words I haven't decided yet)**
